Gourmet dog biscuits inspired by Lucky dog

Borden made local sales calls to markets in his truck, and took along his dog Lucky with him. Retailers warmed to the idea. Today Pet Pals in Soquel carries the brand, also Aptos Feed & Pet Supply, Seascape Foods in Aptos and the New Leaf Community Market. Surf City Coffee, which has a dog patio, also sells them.

Borden said because they’re nutritious and good-tasting, some people like to eat them as well.
